These easy meatballs might be exactly what you need for tonight’s dinner.

Those who are used to preparing meatballs or patties for family dinner likely know that most of the recipes usually include ingredients like milk and bread to soften the taste of the meat.

However, there’s also another way that you can use to make the most delicious meatballs in Chinese style — just add tomatoes, soy sauce and marinated onions, and you’re set for the best dinner you’ll have in a long time.

Here’s what you need: 750 g of ground chicken, 3–4 green onions, 1 bell pepper, 150–200 g of grated tomatoes, 3 cloves of garlic, 10 g of parsley, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 100 g of pickled onions (made with apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper), 1/2 tsp of salt, black pepper to taste, 1/3 tsp of paprika, hot pepper to taste, oil for frying.

Chop the green onions, grate the bell pepper on a fine grater, press the garlic, and finely chop the herbs.

Combine everything with the ground meat, add the grated tomatoes, soy sauce, spices, and finely chopped pickled onions, and mix thoroughly until well combined.

Form small patties and let them “rest” in the fridge for 30–60 minutes.

Fry in a preheated skillet with oil on both sides until golden brown.
