We've heard what fans of The Witcher series think about Liam Hemsworth, who will replace Henry Cavil as Geralt of Rivia for Season 4. And this is something any actor would hardly like. But what about fellow actors?

Michelle Yeoh, who portrayed Scian for the prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin, praised Henry Cavill for the job he did and said fans should give Hemsworth a chance.

"I think Henry did such an amazing job," Yeoh exclusively told E! News. "Let's see what Liam has to bring, right? That's how it is," the actress said ahead of the prequel premiere, which is slated for December 25.

Speaking about The Witcher: Blood Origin, Yeoh said that she had long been a true fan of The Witcher series and she was completely drawn into the show. She was excited about the world of magic and monsters and was happy to play the first ever Asian-looking elf Scian, who has come from the Ghost tribe. The actress also shared a little bit about her character.

"The tattoos, all of them have the meaning, the one on her [Scian's] forehead says 'promises made shall not waiver'. It's all with intention and her tribe is the one that believed in true loyalty," the actress explained.

Well, it is not only Yeoh who shared her thoughts on Liam Hemsworth as Geralt. The Witcher's showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has recently told GamesRadar that she is pretty sure that the actor will be capable to take over from Henry Cavill and appeal to the show fans.

"I think that it's just a new chapter for us. And I think new chapters bring new energy and that people will find things to love," said Hissrich adding that she was very excited.

Another The Witcher star, Joey Batey, who inhabits the character of Jaskier in The Witcher: Blood Origin (surprise!) and the main series has said that he has actually spoken with Hemsworth and he is excited to work with him.

"He is throwing himself into the deep end of this mythos and this canon with such power and grace and aplomb that I'm really excited to work with him and to see the kind of interpretation that he's going to bring together," the bard actor revealed.

The Jaskier actor also praised Hemsworth's strength and bravery because he was not afraid to come and join such a popular show halfway through and this does him credit.

Season 3 of The Witcher, the last one with Henry Cavill as Geralt, is currently in post-production and its release on Netflix is scheduled for summer 2023.
