Mike Flanagan’s upcoming sci-fi drama The Life of Chuck starring Tom Hiddleston will mark the director’s third collaboration with Stephen King — a record so far beaten only by Flanagan’s wife Kate Siegel.
The couple, which has already become one of the most prominent duos in the world of horror, worked on five movies and three shows together, with The Life of Chuck also being one of those.
However, with just a week left until the movie finally hits the screens across the world, it is yet to prove whether it will become a bigger hit than Flanagan’s highest-rated movie that, coincidentally, Siegel co-wrote and also starred in.

Starring Siegel in the leading role, the movie follows deaf-mute horror author Maddie Young who, upon a stunning success of her novel “Midnight Mass” (which is also the title of Flanagan’s 2021 horror show), leaves New York City for an isolated house in the woods to overcome the writer’s block and continue with her new novel.
Her search for peaceful days, however, soon turns into a never-ending real-life nightmare when a masked stalker starts tormenting Maddie outside her home when he finds out about her disabilities.
With no one else around to get help from and the tension rising, Maddie is forced to find a way to use her physical vulnerability to her own advantage, engaging in a deadly survival game with a masked killer.
What Do Critics and Viewers Say About ‘Hush’?
The movie has become a sensation and the best-rated film in Flanagan’s filmography, also receiving several remakes helmed by other directors, so no wonder Hush has been widely regarded as one of the best horrors released in the last years.
