Somebody seems to be missing out on a lot of things.

One of the most iconic Supernatural stars, Misha Collins ( Castiel) appears to not have watched the prequel for the show, The Winchesters. And his reasoning might really surprise you.

Logically, one might want to check out the original show before watching a prequel, right? Well, it turns out that Collins will have to catch up on Supernatural first before watching The Winchesters.

He spoke about how he didn't watch the prequel because he has to go through Supernatural first during a fan convention in Phoenix. While it was unclear whether Misha was joking about not having watched Supernatural, he also added that his kids might be ready to check the original show out.

Fans immediately suggested that Misha should launch watching parties with his kids in order to check out both Supernatural and The Winchesters and stay updated.

Collins' confession comes amid rumors that his character Castiel might make an appearance in The Winchesters at some point around the season finale. While it has been officially confirmed that Richard Speigh Jr will be back to reprise the role of trickster Loki, the prequel star Meg Donnelly (Mary Winchester) has also dropped hints that the cameos in the show are not over.

However, Castiel's participation in The Winchesters has not been officially confirmed, and Collins himself has not commented on the possibility yet. Even if he did, fans are often having troubles understanding whether Misha is joking or not.

But a true Supernatural fan knows that everything is possible in this universe.

While showrunners play coy on the possible cameos and resort to teasing fans as of now, it's quite possible that Collins' trench-coated angel will appear in the prequel — especially in the wake of how fans think they spotted a scene from his first ever appearance in Supernatural season 4 in The Winchesters' trailer earlier.

The Winchesters airs on The CW on Tuesdays, with the first season set to conclude after 13 episodes.
