Miss 'Ocean's Eleven'? Check Out This Overlooked Action Crime TV Gem With 92% on RT
This is an exciting, witty project about a group of thieves who decide to use their talents for good.
Do you miss the days when heist movies were witty and the team worked like a well-oiled machine? If so, we have great news for you – Leverage is a series that premiered in 2008 and remains one of the best examples of the genre.
It's a mix of Ocean's Eleven, Mission: Impossible and Tower Heist, only in a multi-part adventure format.
What Is 'Leverage' About?

Nate Ford is a former insurance investigator. After his son was denied help by his employers and died, he lost faith in the system and turned to alcohol. One day, a businessman approaches Ford, claiming that his competitors stole his blueprints.
Ford assembles a team consisting of computer genius Hardison, thief Parker, con artist Sophie, and hand-to-hand combat expert Eliot. They successfully recover the blueprints, but it turns out that their client has scammed them.
The team decides to get revenge, and in the process, they realize they enjoy helping people stand up to large corporations. Thus, the fictitious company Leverage was born, through which the thieves began to restore justice.
'Leverage' Has a Perfect Ensemble and Great Chemistry Between the Characters
Nate, a former insurance salesman, is the brains of the operation – he now uses his knowledge against the system. Although he has extensive investigative experience, he is the only one without a criminal record.
Hardison is a typical 2000s geek who loves fast food, creates colorful presentations for any occasion, and can hack any system. Parker is a woman with a difficult past who climbs through ventilation systems and jumps from ropes fearlessly.
Sophie is a brilliant actress who's terrible on stage but excels in real-life con jobs. Eliot is a deep-voiced, silent thug with advanced hand-to-hand combat skills.
Their chemistry is an art form in itself – they constantly tease and argue with each other, but in critical moments, they work as one.
Thanks to Dynamic Editing & Witty Humor, Each Episode of 'Leverage' Is Like a Mini-Blockbuster

Leverage doesn't waste time on drawn-out conversations. Each episode features at least one large-scale operation shown through quick editing – Nate coordinates the group, Hardison hacks the system, Parker climbs through the vents, Eliot takes out security, and Sophie distracts the target.
The editing is so well done that you feel like you're watching a well-coordinated dance where everyone knows their place.
Leverage is a TV series that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first minute to the last. If you love stories about noble thieves, clever cons, and teamwork, this one will be a real find for you.
