'MobLand' Season 2 and 4 Other TV Series to Look Forward to in Fall 2026
Tom Hardy's criminal exploits and a grand return to Middle-earth.
The summer TV season is coming to an end, and it's been a truly eventful one: we said goodbye to The Bear, were disappointed by Lucky, and enjoyed House of the Dragon's most gripping chapter.
However, there's no time to rest because an equally exciting fall season awaits, promising plenty of reasons to stay up late.
1. 'Carrie'
Release Date: October 7, 2026

Carrie is a new adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same name. Mike Flanagan, a staunch fan of the horror master, is directing the miniseries. Flanagan previously adapted Gerald's Game, Doctor Sleep, and The Life of Chuck.
King personally selected the director for the adaptation: Flanagan wrote the screenplay, served as executive producer, and directed several episodes.
The team has preserved the novel's plot: a girl who is bullied at school discovers that she has telekinetic powers. The action will take place in the present day.
2. 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' Season 3
Release Date: November 11, 2026

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power begins long before the events depicted in Peter Jackson's adaptations. The plot of the new episodes will unfold five years after the Season 2 finale.
Sauron begins forging the One Ring in hopes of subjugating all of Middle-earth and the season also sets the stage for the future Nazgul's emergence. The writers paid special attention to military conflicts and political intrigue: one of the central events will be the war between the Elves and Sauron.
Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Ismael Cruz Córdova, and Daniel Weyman will reprise their roles. New faces will also join the cast, including Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn.
3. 'The Gentlemen' Season 2
Release Date: September 3, 2026

In the first season, Eddie, a soldier who once rejected a life of luxury, returns to the family estate after his father dies. He inherits a ducal title, a half-empty safe, and an underground farm. His task is to solve his business problems and retire sustainably.
Spoiler alert: it doesn't work out. In the new episodes, Eddie and his companion, Susie, develop an illegal business abroad and find themselves on the brink of the collapse of the empire they've built.
The Gentlemen is a spin-off of Guy Ritchie's movie of the same name, which starred Matthew McConaughey. The second season will take place a year later and expands the setting: the characters move from the English countryside to the Italian lakes.
4. 'Blade Runner 2099'

Los Angeles, 2099. Cora has spent her whole life on the run. In order to secure her brother's future, she must team up with Olwen, a replicant facing death. Together, they become part of a vast conspiracy in an attempt to save the city from an impending threat.
This series is a continuation of the franchise based on Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? The events take place 50 years after the events of Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049. Ridley Scott, who directed the original film, serves as executive producer.
5. 'MobLand' Season 2
Release Date: September 18, 2026
Streaming Platform: Paramount+
The streets of London are in turmoil as the Harrigans and the Stevensons, two of the most powerful Mafia families, try to overthrow each other. The already tense relationship between the rivals has been further exacerbated by the disappearance of Tommy, the son of Richie Stevenson.
Harry Da Souza, a Harrigan fixer, must prevent an open confrontation between the two families, who are responsible for trafficking illegal substances.
In the second season, Harry will face a new threat when another influential figure declares war on the Harrigans. Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond have joined the cast.
