Netflix's Best Animated Show With 100% on RT Returns for Its Final Season This Week

Blood of Zeus is returning soon, and the third season will be the final chapter of Heron's adventures, although the creators planned to make five. Here's what we know about the upcoming season.
In 2020, Netflix released the animated series Blood of Zeus from Powerhouse Animation Studios – the same studio that produced Castlevania, one of the platform's biggest hits.
Although Blood of Zeus has not achieved the same popularity as Castlevania, the quality of the series is no less than that of the game adaptation – this is a project with high-quality animation and a well-thought-out story.
Blood of Zeus Season 3 Trailer & Release Date
The creators of the series, Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, planned that the whole story would take five seasons: however, Netflix announced the third season as the final one. Netflix has also released a new trailer.
The third chapter of Heron's adventures will be released on Netflix on May 8.
What Will Blood of Zeus Season 3 Be About?
It seems that Heron, having gained the power given to him by Zeus, gradually loses control over himself. And Alexia gave him even more power, uttering his name at the broken Eleusinian Stone.
But there is still the rescue of Zeus from the realm of the dead, the confrontation with Hades and the duel with Titan to come. The King of Titans will be voiced by Alfred Molina – the star of Spider-Man who played Otto Octavius.
Blood of Zeus Is a High-Quality Animated Series You Shouldn't Miss
Powerhouse Animation took Blood of Zeus very seriously and it shows. The battles are impressive not only in their action, but also in their variety.
At the same time, there is something to see outside the battles: the animators were able to present even such familiar places as the crossing of the river Styx in the kingdom of Hades in an original way.
The characters are not only masterfully animated, but also impeccably voiced.
Seraphim, for example, is voiced by Elias Toufexis, who also voiced Adam Jensen in the last two parts of Deus Ex. The excellent casting is complemented by a majestic orchestral soundtrack – a rarity for projects of this kind.
