The prequel has never been this close to the original.

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'Better Call Saul ' season 6 episode 11

It would seem that 'Better Call Saul' has already had enough nods and references to the original show, 'Breaking Bad ', throughout its sixth season. Well, how about an entire episode of the prequel that shares the title with the original and features none other than Walt and Jesse themselves?

Naturally, the appearance of the two main characters from 'Breaking Bad' is the largest Easter egg one could ever imagine. Episode 11 focuses on Saul Goodman taking Walt and Jesse as clients, immediately figuring out that Walt is "Heisenberg" – someone who is behind the high-purity blue methamphetamine being sold on the streets.

Besides, the episode shifts between Saul's post-"Breaking Bad" personality Gene Takovic in Omaha, and the universe of Saul Goodman we grew to love in "Breaking Bad" Season 2.

Having witnessed the nostalgic time-travel that also provides new details into the universe of 'Breaking Bad', fans have yet again anointed 'Better Call Saul' to be the "best TV show" of all time.

Given that one of the 'Breaking Bad' episodes was titled 'Better Call Saul', the new episode of the prequel was "just poetry", viewers said. It all just comes together in a way that is both beautiful and carefully thought-through.

"The writing on #BetterCallSaul is the best on TV. The way tonight's episode wove fan-pleasing scenes and characters into a tense, sad referendum on Jimmy and his cycle of mistakes was just… whoa." – @ViewerAnon

Many people have already argued that 'Better Call Saul' is even better than the original series, but for the majority of people, it's a tie. The Saul Goodman prequel is definitely among the best spinoff shows for many people.

There are two more episodes left until the grand finale of the sixth season, which will also be the show's last. The finale premieres on August 15.
