A small detail in Holland’s post says a lot.

Scrolling through Instagram, I stumbled on behind-the-scenes photos from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, posted by Tom Holland. And while they might look casual at first glance, there’s a somethig packed into those two images.

He’s standing on what looks like a military-style vehicle, secured with a stunt wire. The caption simply reads, 'Spider-Man Brand New Day 1'. But what stood out to me was the Spidey suit — noticeably different.

It has a distinctly classic feel — more in line with the suits worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield than Holland’s previous tech-heavy designs. A little less shine, a little more nostalgia. Intentional? It certainly feels like it.

Sony had already unveiled the suit days earlier, but seeing it in action — even in a blurry behind-the-scenes moment — gives it more weight. There’s something comforting about seeing Spider-Man look like, well… Spider-Man.

And it looks like he won’t be swinging solo. Brand New Day will bring in Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, plus Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Michael Mando as the Scorpion. Sadie Sink is also joining the cast. It’s quite the line-up.
