However, this coffee cake is a foolproof that you can serve the best sweet treat after using just a couple of ingredients that you usually have in your kitchen just in case. Try it once, and you might become obsessed with the idea of making this cake every day.
Here’s what you need: 1/2 cup of yogurt, 3 teaspoons of instant coffee, 2 eggs, 100 g of butter, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking soda (neutralized with lemon juice) to taste.
Dissolve the instant coffee in the yogurt, add the sugar and eggs, then mix thoroughly and whisk lightly until smooth.
Add the softened butter, then stir in the flour and baking soda until the batter is smooth.
Pour the dough into a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven until done and golden brown.
If you like, make a simple cream by mixing sour cream, sugar, and a little coffee.
Slice the cake and layer it with the cream or pour it over the top before serving.
