'Nobody 2' Director Ready to Helm Legendary Franchise — Even Without Pay

He says he’d jump at the chance without hesitation whatsoever.
I have to admit, I love hearing directors talk about the projects they’d take on if given the chance, and Timo Tjahjanto just made my day. The filmmaker behind Nobody 2 and The Shadow Strays recently revealed he would absolutely direct a Terminator movie — even for free.
"One thing I will never say no to is a Terminator film, though... If an offer comes to do a Terminator film, and they say, 'But Timo, you can only do it without getting paid!' I would go, 'You know what? Screw it.' I'll do a Terminator movie for free, no doubt."
Knowing Tjahjanto’s love for brutal, inventive action and his admiration for that iconic scene of Arnold walking into the police station, I’m genuinely excited imagining what he could do with the franchise.
He’s already the "sequel guy" with Nobody 2 and The Beekeeper 2, and I think his style could breathe fresh, thrilling life into the Terminator universe. Personally, I’d be first in line to watch it.
