Official Loki Season 2 And Echo Update Finally Reveals a Release Date
Fans have been waiting for so long, and now they finally know how much time is left to wait.
Take a deep breath, fans. Marvel finally announced the release date of Loki season 2 and Echo, — both are TV-shows on Disney Plus.
In the official Twitter account, Marvel confirmed that the anticipated season 2 of Loki will premiere on October 6, 2023.
Loki season 1 is considered to be one of the best (if not the best) Disney Plus Marvel series so far. The show continued the story of the Loki version who got away with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame.
With a great cast featuring Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Jonathan Majors, the first season introduced new characters, including Loki variants, a new organization — The Time Variance Authority (TVA), and an iteration of Kang The Conqueror — the biggest threat of the current MCU 's phase.
In the same tweet, it was announced that Echo will drop all episodes at once on November 29 of the same year of 2023.
Echo is a show revolving around the character of the same name. Maya Lopez (her real name) first appeared in another Disney Plus series — Hawkeye, and was portrayed by Alaqua Cox.
Another Cox — Charlie Cox — will also be on the show in his role of Daredevil, alongside Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (Kingpin).
The show is supposed to be deeply connected to the upcoming reboot — Daredevil: Born Again.
Fans are joking that dropping all episodes at once is the best decision by Marvel, as fans won't have to wait every week for Daredevil to show up.
In Hawkeye, Echo first appears as the antagonist. The deaf martial artist Maya Lopez assumed the role of leader of the Tracksuit Mafia, after losing her father as a result of Ronin's (Hawkeye) pursuit of criminals.
This was the reason why she was after Clint Barton in Hawkeye. But as the story unfolded, she uncovered the truth that Wilson Fisk was responsible for her father's demise.
Her own series will probably focus on Maya's redemption and retreat from her criminal past.
Kingpin will likely be a big player behind minor antagonists, so it is evident that she will need some help from the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
