One Pan, 20 Minutes: The Ultimate Savory Beef Stir-Fry Recipe
No need for a takeout from your favorite Asian restaurant anymore.
We’re used to thinking haute-cuisine dishes can only be served in the most expensive restaurants, though some of those are actually quite easy to cook at home.
The good news is that it also concerns everyone’s favorite beef stir-fry, the originally Chinese dish made with a special technique. However, you won’t have to use exotic machines to make beef stir-fry at home, spending roughly 20 minutes on the entire thing.
Here’s what you need: 400 g of beef, 2 bell peppers, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds, salt and pepper to your taste.
Cut the beef and bell peppers into strips, slice the onion into half-rings, and mince the garlic.
Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over high heat and fry the beef until golden brown. Add the onion and garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the bell pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Pour in the soy sauce, stir, and cook until the liquid evaporates. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
