Well, they hardly let the actors to keep anything at all.

HBO was not remotely generous with mementos, after Game of Thrones ended. In fact, as far as we know the crew barely offered the actors any souvenirs to keep, even though most of props, costumes and so on made for Game of Thrones could not conceivably be reused on a new show.

But one thing that Emilia Clarke really wanted to retain back then was her platinum blonde wig, which became the most distinctive part of her appearance as Daenerys Targaryen.

As Emilia told Access Hollywood at the Emmy Awards ceremony back in 2019, though she asked to keep the wig, her request was denied: "I have not seen the wig. I was like, that's my hair."

"That's my hair" sentiment is understandable, because for the sake of wearing said wig Emilia had to shave her head clean during filming. She did successfully took one little souvenir from Game of Thones' sets, however.

"Ben and I did steal an arrow from one of the battles and then we hid it," Emilia admitted. "Nobody will notice."

She was not the only cast member to pilfer something from the sets. Some actor, like John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) or Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) played by the rules and got no souvenirs to remind them of the show. But others thought that mere memories weren't tangible enough, and various cut and bruises too transitory.

Game of Thrones Most Rage-Inducing Final Twist Was George Martin' s Idea

Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), for example, managed to "liberate" some prop swords and his character's signature finger bag. Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) was actually given one of chess pieces from the map room as a memento.

Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark) grabbed a bunch of wooden kitchen utensils during his last day on the set. And Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) got to keep her corset. Accidentally, a corset was one part of Daenerys' attire that Emilia Clarke absolutely did not miss:

"I won't miss the corset though, no. I didn't like the corset. The corset didn't like me. I was in there for sure."
