'Only for You, Deni': Jason Momoa Shaves After 6 Years — For a Surprising Reason

The actor shared his beard-free moment on Instagram.
Wasn’t expecting to watch Jason Momoa shave this week, but here we are. The actor showed up in my Instagram scroll looking unusually serious — and holding a razor.
Turns out the beard had to go so he could return to playing Duncan Idaho in Dune: Part Three. And yes, as someone waiting for the next chapter in this epic saga, I was instantly intrigued. Especially since Duncan, as fans will remember, died in Part One.
In the books, the character comes back as a clone. Villeneuve hasn’t confirmed if he’s going in that direction, but Momoa’s back — which means something is definitely happening.
The third film will also bring back Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Florence Pugh, and introduce Ida Brooke and Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, Jason’s son, as Leto II. Momoa said he didn’t help his son get the role, but he’s proud of how he’s handling it:
"He’s 16 and holding it down with Denis. I couldn’t have done that at his age."
No full trailer yet, but the beard video was enough to spark buzz. Villeneuve clearly isn’t finished with Duncan — and neither are we.
