The first movie tells the story of how the villain Humdinger becomes mayor of Adventure City and how fearless puppies challenge him.

Ryder and his friends encounter danger, secrets of the past, and new acquaintances – the resourceful dachshund Liberty joins the patrol. Armed with new gadgets, ingenuity, and friendship, the heroic team is ready to confront Humdinger and save the residents.

Pros: PAW Patrol: The Movie has a gripping premise and impressive, bright action scenes. Kids will be delighted by the new character, Liberty.

Cons: However, the plot is fairly predictable, even for a children's film, and the characters lack depth.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie continues the story. Humdinger is at it again, weaving villainous plans against the puppies.

This time, he's joined by scientist Victoria Vance, who uses a huge magnet to attract a meteorite from space. The patrol members receive superpowers from the meteorite and become megapuppies.

Pros: The plot of the second movie has reached the next level. There are references to superhero and fantasy films, such as Harry Potter, and the characters break the fourth wall in amusing ways.

Additionally, the characters have been developed, and the plot focuses on Skye and Liberty's inner experiences, which they will undoubtedly overcome by the movie's finale.

Cons: Some viewers may find the story too sci-fi-ish.

'PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie's Animation Is Noticeably Better

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie cost $4 million more than the first movie, and it shows. The second film looks much more detailed.

The effects of superpowers, space scenes, and the development of backgrounds are on par with those of large animation studios.

'PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie' Is a Better Choice

Despite the fact that PAW Patrol: The Movie has higher Rotten Tomatoes scores than PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie82% from critics and 97% from viewers against 72% and 93%, respectively – the latter movie seems to be a much better choice.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie has a more interesting plot and concept, more developed characters, and higher-quality graphics. At the same time, it remains funny and scenes follow each other rather quickly so as not to tire kids out.
