Pixar’s new sci-fi adventure follows 11-year-old Elio Solís, an imaginative and lonely boy who doesn’t quite fit in. One day, aliens fashionably beam him up to the 'Communiverse,' mistakenly making him Earth’s ambassador.
Amid eccentric alien societies and a secret military base run by his aunt Olga, Elio embarks on a journey of friendship, identity, and belonging.

Released in U.S. cinemas on June 20, 2025, Elio isn’t yet available on Disney+ or any other streamer. For now, you can rent it for around $24.99 or buy it for $29.99 on platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
As with most Pixar films, it should arrive on Disney+ a few months later — likely by late September or early October 2025.
