The same team that worked on the first season is responsible for the new chapter – the showrunners are The Office writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg.

The scope of the project has grown significantly. While the first season took place almost entirely in the courthouse, the second season required cameras to be positioned throughout dozens of buildings on the ranch.
