Marvel and DC have unveiled exciting new variant covers for the highly anticipated Deadpool/Batman #1, set to release September 17. Veteran artist Greg Capullo, known for Batman: Death of the Family, created these striking covers.
They feature battles like Batman vs Wolverine, Wonder Woman vs Captain America, Catwoman vs Magik, and Elektra vs Batgirl (Cassandra Cain). The new cover variants were recently revealed on their official X page.
Written by Zeb Wells, the one-shot focuses on the clash between the Merc with a Mouth and Gotham’s Dark Knight, with backup stories spotlighting other iconic team-ups such as Daredevil/Green Arrow and Krypto the Superdog/Jeff the Land Shark.
Marvel Entertainment President Dan Buckley emphasized the careful planning behind the crossover, highlighting the importance of having the right talent to build excitement.
