Another musical flick from The Greatest Showman’s director is all yours to check out at home.

Amid all the fuss Timothée Chalamet’s portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown caused, we probably didn’t notice another biopic hitting theatres back in December.

The movie, directed by musicals’ lover Michael Gracey, offers quite a quirky perspective of the life of Robbie Williams, a singer considered one of the greatest entertainers of modern times.

Despite having stunned critics and viewers with visuals for which it received various awards nominations, the flick was still a box office disaster, but now it might have just got a chance to redeem its financial loss after landing on streaming.

You Can Now Watch Robbie Williams’ Better Man at Home

As When to Stream reported following Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment’s confirmation, Better Man is available for watching at home starting from February 11, around a month and a half after the movie hit the screens on Christmas Eve, and can be found on several platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home.

Better Man stars Williams as a CG-animated anthropomorphic chimpanzee, remaining faithful to the singer’s personal vision of himself as, according to Williams, he always felt like he was less evolved than other people.

The movie follows Williams’ life and career, first seeing him as a kid and then the youngest member of boyband Take That who will later on turn into one of the most successful solo artists. However, fame is still not only about joy and happiness, and the movie also sees Williams tackling challenges that the status of the greatest pop star brings along.

Better Man Is a Critical Darling Turned Into a Box Office Disaster

Despite being generally met with enthusiasm, the movie faced some major issues upon its theatrical release.

Better Man started it off on a good note, receiving universal acclaim and landing impressive scores of 88% and 90% from critics and viewers respectively on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the audiences’ reviews didn’t really help as the film lacked some attention in theatres and ended up earning only around $20 million with a whopping amount of $110 million of initial budget.

The movie might still garner some more accolades anyway now that it’s available for a much bigger audience to check it out.
