The John Wick creator continues to reach new heights.

Stunt coordinators Chad Stahelski and David Leitch changed careers in the early 2000s and, as directors, made some of the best action movies of the decade: the John Wick franchise, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and many other projects featuring incredible fights.

Their company, 87eleven, has trained dozens of Hollywood actors for action films – so much so that many of them no longer need stunt doubles; even Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk, who trained with them for the action film Nobody, has become a martial arts master.

Before Creating John Wick, Leitch Was Brad Pitt’s Stuntman

Few people know that Stahelski and Leitch met on the set of The Matrix. Keanu Reeves needed a stunt double, and Chad came in for an audition and was accepted after a grueling test.

Reeves and Stahelski became such good friends on the set that the future John Wick director became the actor's permanent double, working with him not only on The Matrix but also on Constantine.

In addition, Stahelski became the stunt coordinator for other Wachowski projects, where he was joined by David Leitch, who was Brad Pitt's stunt double.

Now, after a huge career trajectory from stunt doubles to the most outstanding action directors of our time, the friends took different but no less outstanding paths – Leitch directed Atomic Blonde, which many called a femme version of John Wick, and a sequel to Deadpool, and Stahelski continued to take the John Wick franchise to new heights.

Now, the master of mind-blowing action movies, David Leitch, has recruited a star-studded team to make an exciting movie about stuntman Colt Seavers (played by Ryan Gosling ).

Colt has decided to leave the movie business to improve his health and restore his psyche. And now his ex-girlfriend, a director (Emily Blunt ), asks Colt for help – his longtime acquaintance, the film actor, has disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and the high-budget film he was involved in is in jeopardy. Colt embarks on his own personal investigation while repairing his relationship with the one he still loves.

The Fall Guy ’s Stuntman Broke a Guinness World Record

The yet-to-be-released film (due in theaters May 3, 2024) has already attracted attention – Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt presented stunt expert Logan Holladay with a Guinness World Records certificate.

On the set of The Fall Guy, Holladay performed a deadly jump that included eight and a half car rolls. The previous record of seven rolls was held by Casino Royale stuntman Adam Kirley.

What else could you expect from a movie about stuntmen, made by one of the most outstanding stuntmen of our time?
