We finally get to experience SDCC in person once again, and it's going to be epic.

There are literally hundreds of events planned at San Diego Comic-Con this year: panels, discussions, workshops, tributes and everything in between. Worry not, though: we hand-picked the list of most interesting panels on films and TV, so you won't miss anything important.

Who is at San Diego Comic Con 2022?

Well, the short answer would be "everyone". We're not talking about only Marvel and Warner Bros. here: almost every major studio, network and streaming service are going to present at least something at Comic-Con this weekend, with the notable exclusions of Netflix and The CW. But let's start from the top, shall we?

Officially SDCC begins on Wednesday, but it is Thursday when the fun really starts. Tonight we got ourselves a handful of TV series and movie panels, with Nathan Fillion introducing ABC's The Rookie spin-off and the cast of Teen Wolf returning to Hall H once again to present an upcoming movie. Disney+ will join in on all the action with the sequel to legendary National Treasure (hopefully to finally share release date). Julie Plec of Vampire Diaries fame will once again wow us with yet another skillful vampire romantic tale – Vampire Academy, premiering on Peacock streaming platform September 15. As for returning series, all eyes undoubtedly will be on a surprising hit: the Severance cast and crew will sit down with Patton Oswalt to share "innie" secrets from season 1.

If you thought this Thursday is jam-packed with goodness, wait till you see the Friday's schedule. The focus will largely be on animation, with even Marvel joining to showcase its animated projects (critically acclaimed What If?.. and its potential season 2 included). There are some projects we definitely will be eagerly waiting for (Gremlins origin story in the TV series form, anyone?), and some projects we are not so sure should've been there at all (yes, The Proud Family revival, we are, sadly, looking at you). If you're not a fan of animation, there's still a handful of panels for you on Friday – namely, Amazon Prime's ambitious Paper Girls series (debuting on July 29 already), that has all the potential to become the next Stranger Things. And don't forget about biggest panels taking place on the Hall H stage: on Friday, it's The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power and The Walking Dead time to shine.
