The showrunner is teasing fans with some shocking changes in season 2.

Fire Country is a CBS show that explores the adrenaline-filled world of firefighting. The success of the project lies in its authenticity and compelling storytelling, supported by a talented cast and stunning visuals.

The show reminds us of the strength of the human spirit, the capacity for personal growth, and the power of redemption, and it is set in the world of real-life heroes.

The main character of the series is Bode Donovan, a criminal, who attempts to commute his lengthy sentence by participating in the Conservation Fire Camps program.

Returning to his hometown, Bode faces the harsh reality of his downfall. Once considered a promising man destined for success, he now faces the daily challenges of rebuilding his life.

Since becoming the most popular new series on CBS, Fire Country has been renewed for season 2, although until recently there was no news of a new season due to the strikes. But now the Fire Country writers’ room is open again, and comments from showrunner and executive producer Tia Napolitano make it literally impossible to wait for season 2:

“Season 2 is not a continuation of season 1. It’s the next chapter, and I think, having had a rest from season 1, we feel like we’re ready to come back even stronger and shock everybody from the second the episodes start to air when we’re finally out there. […] Everyone’s story will be very, very surprising from the moment you see them,” she shared.

The exact release date and number of episodes for season 2 are still unknown. Usually, CBS releases its shows in mid-September to mid-October, but the strikes disrupted this established schedule.

Presumably, season 2 will be released in late October or early November, and the number of episodes may be reduced from 22 to 13 due to the shift.

We share your impatience and will keep you informed of all the updates and news that are related to Fire Country.
