‘Silo’ Fans Have Only One Complaint Amidst Seasons 3 and 4 Major Update

There might be a significantly reduced time gap between the next seasons’ release, though fans would wait long enough to see Silo’s other major problem being fixed — here’s what they say.
The next two seasons for Apple TV+’s big sci-fi hit show Silo might be both coming sooner than you think, but that’s not the pace update that fans want to see here the most.
Launched in 2023, the series has so far dropped two instalments, with the second one wrapping up this January.
It was then confirmed that Silo’s season 3 officially went into production, possibly coming to Apple TV+’s platform sometime next year.
Though the series’s fans are lucky to not wait two to three years before another instalment comes out, Silo’s audiences wish its storyline would follow the same rule — so far it doesn’t.
‘Silo’ Fans Slam the Show For Being Way Too Slow
Despite a pretty intense plot line that is about to unravel some major mysteries in the upcoming third season, Silo was still taking things quite slowly — which is what forced some of its viewers to quit the show without finishing the second season.
“I got stuck on season 2, it was just so slow i couldn't continue with it. Shame as my partner and I really enjoyed 1!” Redditor hebikes complained in a show-related thread.
“One episode that stands out was her constructing a makeshift bridge to cross over, to see where the noise and light was coming from in the derelict silo. A whole episode of padding, for a few minutes of story line at the end”, midwinter2017 added.
“S2 was sooo slow, i hope they pick up the pace.. also someone needs to remove that stick up Common's ass.. he's so wooden”, tablecontrol suggested.
‘Silo’ Season 4 May Come Sooner Than You Think
Now that the show’s fans are ready to mark their calendars once the official release date for the third season is announced, they might also want to check out the news about a fourth one more frequently.
As the second instalment’s cinematographer Baz Irvine has recently shared, Silo’s seasons 3 and 4 are filmed back-to-back, with the third already being finished and the fourth one entering its production.
“No, no, three is actually just finished. But, interestingly I met the director, Michael Dinner, who I worked with on season two … he made the decision to stay on and do season three and season four, [and] they're actually about to start season four”, Irvine revealed in an interview with ScreenRant.
When Will ‘Silo’ Season 3 Be Released?
The show’s creators have yet to announce the official premiere date. So far, Silo’s season 3 is expected to arrive on Apple TV+ sometime in 2026.
