Silo Showrunner Gives a Promising Update Amid Season 3 Release Rumours
The new season might arrive sooner than many expected.
Apple TV ’s sci-fi hit show Silo starring Rebecca Ferguson isn’t taking any break after just wrapping its second season up, and its new episodes might actually arrive on the streaming’s platform quite soon.
Based on Hugh Howey’s trilogy of books, the series will now delve into the second chapter’s plot after finishing the first book’s story, yet leaving many questions unanswered; however, the problem is already being fixed by the production team who, according to Silo’s showrunner, is in full work mode for the upcoming third season.
Silo Season 3 Is Already Filming
With the show’s second season being concluded just around a week ago, nobody expected Silo’s cast and crew to get back to the film set that soon, yet that’s what the series is up to, according to showrunner Graham Yost.
In an interview with TheWrap ahead of the second season’s finale release, Yost confirmed that the show’s next instalment is already in the works and, apparently, the whole process is coming to its end since the production most likely started several months ago.
He then added that Apple TV was also down for not taking things slowly saying that “we trust in Apple, and they have their way of doing things, and I understand that”.
What This Means For Silo Season 3 Release Date
The next instalment’s premiere date won’t be announced for quite some time now, but Yost’s revelations come as a clear proof that the show will follow a scheme similar to the one it used for previous seasons.
Silo’s season 1 arrived on Apple TV in May of 2023, then it took a year and a half for the second season to be released in November of 2024. If the series does the same thing with the next instalment, it then will have all the chances to premiere sometime in the spring of 2026, which is the exact time period many have been assigning Silo’s third season’s release to for a while now.
