Skip the Food Truck Queue for These Crispy, Sauce-Drenched Meat Pockets
Cheese-infused tortillas that lock in maximum crunch with zero dough prep.
Hitting a wall with the same old repetitive sandwich routines or greasy late-night delivery orders is an absolute drag, making this lightning-fast pocket hack the ultimate weeknight savior.
Instead of waiting around for a slow-baked meal or dealing with temperamental yeast doughs, you simply load up pre-made cheese tortillas with smoky ham, sharp melted cheese, and a refreshing mountain of crisp garden veggies.
Ingredients: 6 cheese flatbreads, 200 g of turkey ham, 150 g of hard cheese, 200 g of cucumbers, 250 g of tomatoes, 80 g of iceberg lettuce.
For the sauce: 60 g of sour cream, 60 g of mayonnaise, 10 g of garlic, 5 g of smoked paprika, 2 g of dried basil, 2 g of mixed peppers.
Cut the cucumbers, tomatoes, and ham into thin strips. Grate the cheese using a coarse grater; tear the lettuce leaves by hand. For the sauce, mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, paprika, basil, and mixed peppers.
Place a little lettuce, ham, vegetables, cheese, and a spoonful of sauce on each cheese flatbread. Roll them into tight envelopes and fry in a dry skillet for 2–3 minutes on each side, until the flatbread is crispy and the cheese inside has melted. Serve immediately, while the filling is still hot and juicy.
