Peter now starts his life anew, fighting street crime alone in New York City. As Tom Holland notes, Peter will draw inspiration from encounters with alternate versions of himself and create a new suit that incorporates elements of their designs.
Who Will Be the Villains in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'?
Apparently, Peter Parker will face not just one adversary, but an entire gallery of them. A photo from the set revealed Mr. Negative, a crime boss with a split personality who is well-known from the comics and Insomniac games.
Marvin Jones III has also been confirmed to play the leader of the biker gang Tombstone, a role he previously voiced in the animated film Into the Spider-Verse.
Additionally, Scorpion will appear in Brand New Day, hinting at the formation of the infamous Sinister Six.
Who Will Sadie Sink Play?
The involvement of Stranger Things star Sadie Sink in the project is one of the most intriguing mysteries.
Leading theories include her playing the thief Black Cat/Felicia Hardy or even a female version of Chameleon, the shape-shifting antagonist. There has been no official confirmation of her role yet.
