Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to premiere on July 31, 2026. The original release date was July 24, but it was changed due to the release of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, also starring Tom Holland and Zendaya.
Postponing the release will allow producers to premiere the movie in premium theaters that had already booked screenings of Nolan's epic.
After its theatrical and home video release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be available on Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix.
What Will 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Be About?
The fourth installment takes place four years after the events of the previous movie. As a reminder, in No Way Home, Peter Parker asked Doctor Strange to make everyone forget Spider-Man's identity.
However, the spell was distorted, allowing villains from parallel realities to infiltrate our universe. Ultimately, Strange was forced to erase Peter Parker from everyone's memories, including his loved ones.
Brand New Day tells the story of a world where Parker doesn't exist, but Spider-Man does. Free from the burdens of ordinary life and having cut off all contact, the hero devotes himself entirely to protecting New York.
Things are going well until a series of mysterious crimes draws him into a vast web of mystery.
The movie takes its name from the 2008 Marvel comic book series in which Peter Parker encountered time-altering forces that prevented him from consummating his marriage to MJ.
Who Is in the Cast of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'?
Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon will reprise their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, MJ, and Ned Leeds, respectively. However, Zendaya's role was significantly reduced due to her commitments to Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, and the movie will also mark the big-screen debut of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. Recurring characters include Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner.
Newcomers include Sadie Sink, who will probably play the role of Jean Grey, Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman. Marvin Jones III has also joined the cast as the Tombstone, one of New York City's most dangerous crime bosses.
