Excitement is building as speculation grows about their mysterious characters.

I’m honestly thrilled — Star Wars is back, and this time the cast just got even more intriguing. Lucasfilm recently announced that two major DC actors, Adams and Pierre, have joined Starfighter.

Adams, who played Lois Lane in the DCEU, and Pierre, who’s set to portray John Stewart in HBO’s Lanterns, are now stepping into a galaxy far, far away.

It’s unclear who they’ll play, but that’s what makes it exciting. I love guessing how talented actors from completely different franchises might shake up the Star Wars universe.

Will they be allies, enemies, or both? Personally, I’m hoping for a mix — some characters that keep us on our toes while still feeling fresh and new.

Set five years after The Rise of Skywalker, Starfighter already promises a post-sequel-trilogy adventure.

With Ryan Gosling leading and Shawn Levy directing, plus Matt Smith reportedly as the main villain, the addition of Adams and Pierre makes me feel like this could be the bold, new chapter Star Wars needs. I, for one, can’t wait to see how these DC stars fit into the story.
