Pedro Pascal is far from the only member of the Martell family to appear in A Galaxy Far Far Away.

Considering the size of the Star Wars franchise, it is not surprising that the actors who starred in it often appear in other projects.

Most of the actors who have played the main characters in the franchise have had appearances outside of Star Wars, the same goes for the supporting cast. But sometimes these situations lead to quite interesting results.

Curiously, it seems that Star Wars now has almost a complete collection of the Sand Snakes family members from the HBO fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones, which consists of Prince Oberyn Martell along with his wife and bastard daughters.

With the exception of Tyene Sand, portrayed by Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, all of the actors who played the family members on the show appeared in one way or another in the galaxy far, far away.

Pedro Pascal, who played the role of Oberyn Martell, now stars as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian TV series. The space bounty hunter turned caretaker is a stark contrast to the character of the Red Viper of Dorne, but Pascal nailed both roles.

Indira Varma, who played his on-screen wife Ellaria Sand, also appeared in the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series as Tala Durith, a Galactic Empire captain who turned against her superiors and joined the underground network that rescues Force-sensitive children from the Imperial Inquisitors.

Keisha Castle-Hughes, Obara Sand from the HBO series, portrayed scientist Emerie Karr in the second season of the animated series The Bad Batch.

And Jessica Henwick, who played Nymeria Sand, appeared in Episode VII – The Force Awakens as Jessika Pava, a starfighter pilot for the Resistance.

Although it appeared that she died in an explosion, this was later proven wrong as she later appeared in other Star Wars properties.

It is always fun to see the familiar faces from both of your favorite fictional universes.

Fans also point out that they would like to see more of the Martell family tree appear in Star Wars, as suggested by this comment from Reddit user allys_stark:

"So where is Alexander Siddig, imagine a villain played by him, an evil doctor Bashir! OMG I want him for tomorrow!"

Although Siddig voiced a senator in the first season of the animated series The Bad Batch, he may eventually be given a more prominent role in the Star Wars franchise.
