The author is known to dislike superhero movies.

The Flash with Ezra Miller has been surrounded by scandal almost from the moment of its creation. Fans called for a boycott of the new movie because of the behavior of actor Ezra Miller, who played the title role.

CinemaCon 2023 hosted an advanced screening of The Flash, where the movie received positive reviews.

The movie also received numerous celebrity accolades, with James Gunn himself calling it "probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made."

In addition, the WB executive shared the following after seeing the movie: "I saw it and loved it. It's a wow. I can't wait for 'The Flash' to hit the theaters in June."

However, fans were most surprised by the review from Stephen King, who, as is known, is not usually interested in superheroes' projects, to put it mildly. King shared his thoughts on Twitter:

"I got an advance screening of The Flash today. As a rule, I don't care a lot for superhero movies, but this one is special. It's heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping. I loved it."

Some fans believe that such reviews are overly positive in order to overshadow all the scandals that have surrounded the movie for several years and to ensure that the movie receives if not a successful, but at least a decent box office.

In April 2022, Miller attacked a woman in a bar and threw a chair at her during a scuffle. Previously, the actor was accused of hooliganism, harassment and violence against a minor.

In 2020, Ezra got into a fight with a fan, after which they began to choke her. In August 2022, the artist was involved in the case of the disappearance of a woman and her children.

Fans believe that the fact that Ezra Miller stayed on as The Flash despite the allegations proves that the cancellation culture only exists when it doesn't hurt the companies' bottom lines too much.

The movie tells how Barry Allen tries to fix his past and save his own mother. As a result, he finds himself in an alternate reality.

He enlists the help of Batman and Supergirl to save this world from a resurrected General Zod and return to his own universe. The movie will be released on June 16.
