'Stranger Things' 5 Will Finally Explain the Show's Biggest Mystery

Netflix’s sci-fi horror mystery show might be returning with a major update on Noah Schnapp’s character that keeps everyone wondering ever since season 1. Here’s what Stranger Things fans can’t stop talking about after season 5’s teaser release.
Things will likely become less strange in Stranger Things’ upcoming and final season 5 which fans think will explain Will Byers’ miraculous rescue in the show’s first season.
It’s been a long time since Stranger Things’ viewers started looking for clues in Will’s personal abilities after he was dragged into the Upside Down by the Demogorgon in the first instalment.
The series didn’t talk much about the reasons why Will was chosen the creature’s victim either, with fans eventually coming up with their own theories.
However, the upcoming fifth season’s first teaser had everyone talking thanks to a seemingly flashback-coded scene that will likely unveil more about Stranger Things’ most concerning mystery.
‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Might Explain How Will Found Way to Escape the Demogorgon
In the upcoming fifth season’s first teaser released just recently only one scene caused a turmoil, seemingly showing Will jump from one tree to another while trying to escape the creature.
Despite not being quite sure due to the scene’s sombre tones, many acknowledged the boy does look like Will from the first season.
“Check the haircut, the backpack, the puffy orange vest. I am pretty sure this is a de-aged flashback where we finally get to see how in the fuck Will got away from the demogorgon when it brought him through the portal”, Redditor LastBaron commented in a thread, adding that the show has gone a long way to explain how Will “played hide and seek with a literal monster for weeks” before being saved.
“I can‘t imagine why Vecna would want him given he‘s a tiny child. But Vecna letting Will seems more plausible to me than Will somehow making it out of the situation we see in the teaser by himself”, im_fighting_fit stated in another thread.
Will’s Escape From Upside Down Was a Big Question Ever Since Season 1
Even though Noah Schnapp’s character was quickly brought back to the screen after a brief disappearance (which, however, shook his mind quite hard), fans couldn’t connect the dots for a long time, considering how small of a child Will was and how complicated it should have been for him to get away from the Demogorgon.
Throughout all those years that Stranger Things was airing, fans were making their theories about methods that Will could have used to distract the creature.
In this regard, many suggested that the character, given his small size and quiet nature, simply opted for hiding until it was safe enough for him to try to escape.
When Will ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Be Released?
The show’s season 5 will premiere with its first four episodes on November 26, with Volume 2 coming to Netflix on December 25.
The instalment’s finale will be released on December 31.
