The Man of Steel has landed in theaters with DC's latest reboot, Superman. But if you've ever wondered how much it costs to assemble a superhero cast, we have something for you. And according to Puck News, David Corenswet was not paid the highest.
Here's the Superman cast, ranked by how much they got from filming the movie (via Financial Express).
8. Skyler Gisondo
Role: Jimmy Olsen.
Salary: $200,000.
Skyler Gisondo is killing it as Jimmy Olsen right now. It's undeniably perfect casting. Back in April, director James Gunn wrote on Bluesky that his “performance in #Superman is gonna knock you out of your socks.”
7. Isabela Merced
Role: Hawkgirl.
Salary: $200,000.
Isabela Merced rocks as Hawkgirl in the Superman movie. She gives us a hero who's tough but has feelings too. Merced brings both Hawkgirl's rage and vulnerability.
“She really puts it all out there on the battlefield, and it’s rageful,” Merced told Cleveland.
6. Anthony Carrigan
Role: Metamorpho.
Salary: $250,000.
In an interview to Entertainment Weekly, Carrigan revealed that his transformation into Metamorpho took five-to-six hours. But he's a “big fan of practical effects,” so we guess it’s fine.
5. Edi Gathegi
Role: Mr. Terrific.
Salary: $400,000.
Edi Gathegi totally steals scenes as highly underrated in DCU Mr. Terrific. In fact, he revealed that before Gunn took to DC, he didn't even know much about the character.
“I wasn’t aware of Mister Terrific. The first time he got on my radar was when James took over DC as the head of studio, and the very first picture that he posted on social media was a picture of Mister Terrific,” Gathegi said to Variety.
4. Nathan Fillion
Role: Guy Gardner/Green Lantern.
Salary: $400,000.

Nicholas Hoult is actually the highest-paid actor in the movie, banking more than Superman himself. His intense take on Lex Luthor is clearly worth it, delivering a villain that's both scary smart and extremely memorable.
