Ingredients: 4 cloves of garlic, 10 g of ginger, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 120 ml of soy sauce, 60 ml of water, 100 g of brown sugar, 450 g of beef tenderloin, 40 g of cornstarch, 2–3 spring onions.
Peel and mince the garlic and ginger, then fry in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil for 1 minute.
Add the soy sauce, water, and brown sugar to the pan, stir, bring the sauce to a boil, and simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
Slice the beef into thin strips and coat all sides with cornstarch.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet until hot, then fry half of the beef over high heat for 2–3 minutes until browned.
Place the cooked meat in a bowl and set aside. Cook the second half of the beef in the same way.
Put the meat back in the pan, mix with the sauce, and simmer for another 5–7 minutes. Garnish the beef with chopped green onions.
