The 15-Minute No-Bake Coconut Roll That Easily Replaces Expensive Candy Bars
A premium, velvety coconut dessert without even having to turn on the oven.
This budget-friendly alternative to processed confectionery delivers a remarkably rich flavor profile reminiscent of a classic Bounty bar. It features a dense, satisfying chocolate exterior paired with a sweet, velvety coconut filling.
Because it serves as a highly efficient, no-bake solution for sweet tooth cravings, it is an excellent choice for a quick, elegant dessert that slices beautifully after chilling.
Ingredients: 200 g of cookies, 100 ml of water, 20–100 g of sugar (to taste), 2 tbsp of cocoa powder, 80 g of shredded coconut, 80 g of butter, 60 g of powdered sugar.
Crumble the cookies into crumbs and mix them with the cocoa powder. Dissolve the sugar in hot water, then let the mixture cool slightly.
Pour the sugary water into the cookie crumbs and mix until you have a thick, flexible mass.
Prepare the filling separately: mix the shredded coconut with powdered sugar and softened butter, and mix thoroughly until smooth.
Spread the chocolate cookie mixture onto plastic wrap and shape it into a rectangle. Spread the coconut filling evenly on top.
Carefully roll everything into a log, using the plastic wrap to help. Wrap it up and place it in the freezer for about 1 hour until firm.
Then remove it, slice it with a sharp knife, and sprinkle with shredded coconut before serving, if you like.
