The 30-Minute Dinner Solution: Why This Savory Beef Spaghetti Is a Weeknight Lifesaver
The Italian classics is much easier to cook at home than you might have thought.
Despite all the variety of flavors and exotic ingredients in the world’s cuisine, Italian dishes remain something that is adored by everyone. Be that a pizza or lasagna, they’re always welcome at any table, but are still often considered too complicated for a normal family dinner.
However, even with the famous beef spaghetti you won’t have to waste much of your time, getting the most delicious dinner that you and your family will crave for every night.
Here’s what you need: 400 g of spaghetti, 500 g of minced meat (beef or pork), 3 tablespoons of tomato paste, 200 g of tomatoes in their own juice (or ketchup), 3 cloves of garlic, 20 g of butter, salt and spices to your liking, grated cheese and herbs for serving.
Melt the butter in a frying pan. Simultaneously, cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the box.
Put the minced meat in the frying pan and fry for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Add the chopped garlic and stir. Add the tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes to allow the minced meat and paste to bind together. Add the tomatoes in their own juice (or ketchup) and spices. Simmer for 4–5 minutes, then remove from the heat.
Serve the minced meat with the cooked spaghetti, sprinkled with grated cheese and fresh herbs.
It is best to serve the dish hot so that the cheese melts a little.
