Jeremy Allen White’s culinary drama will return this summer for its fourth chapter. Here’s everything we know.

Yes, chef! FX has revealed the release date for The Bear season 4, scheduling the premiere for June 25.

All 10 episodes will be available at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. on Hulu and Disney+.

The show’s official account on Instagram shared a poster for the upcoming season, captioning it with “Family forever”.

The Bear follows Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy Berzatto after he rebranded his restaurant The Beef into the fine dining establishment The Bear. Created by Christopher Storer, the show blends drama, dark comedy, and slice-of-life realism to deliver an intense and emotional look into the world of a small Chicago kitchen.

However, some fans argue that it was the case in the first two seasons only.

The Bear Season 4 Has to Do Better Than Season 3, Fans Say

Season 3 of the show received mixed reviews from critics and fans, mostly because of how it “didn’t meet the high bar” The Bear has set for itself with its first two seasons. Another issue fans had with the season was the abundance of filler episodes.

“What caught me about The Bear was learning about the world of cooking, chefs, and restaurants. A world in which I was completely oblivious. I loved the discipline, the techniques, the terms, the equipment, the food, the business, you name it. Seasons 1 and 2 had all that, plus the obligatory emotional part. I was ok with that yet season 3 seemed like a "This is us" season. Too much about the characters,” said Redditor PalpitationLast669.

There is even a sports metaphor to explain why people didn’t like season 3 of The Bear as much as they did two previous seasons.

“Plot-driven vs Character-study. Baseball vs Basketball. Many people need constant action that moves the plot forward (basketball) to enjoy a show. Others are happy to delve into the intricacies of personalities and relationships (slower moving and lower scoring Baseball), plot be damned,” another Redditor nicknamed standinghampton noted.
