This time, the garnish will be something more exotic than ordinary potatoes.

Thanks to social media, we’re constantly surrounded by all kinds of meat recipes, so it’s likely we don’t have to worry about what to cook for the rest of our lives.

However, some recipes repeated again and again often need to be put aside for a while. If you feel like you’re sick and tired of cooking meat in the same way each time, try this Serbian-style pork served with salami and cheese — you won’t regret it.

Ingredients: 250 g of pork, a slice of salami, brynza or suluguni cheese, two teaspoons of sandwich mustard, garlic, a teaspoon of ground paprika, salt and spices, button mushrooms, 1 onion, 1 cherry tomato, half a bell pepper, 30 ml of cognac or whiskey.

Flatten two pieces of pork, season with salt and pepper, brush with garlic and sweet mustard, and sprinkle with paprika.

Place finely chopped salami and cheese on one piece of meat, then cover with the other piece. Tap the edges with a meat hammer to secure them, or you can pierce the edges with a toothpick. Sprinkle with salt and spices, then rub with garlic and mustard.

Place the stuffed pork in a skillet and cook over medium heat. Slice the onion into half-rings, and chop the bell pepper, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes.

When the stuffed pork is browned, flip it over, add the vegetables, and season with salt. A couple of minutes before it’s done, add finely chopped garlic, and after a minute, pour in a little cognac. Let it simmer a little longer, then remove from the heat.
