The Big Bang Theory’s New Project Is Coming to Max Next Week

The show ended back in 2019, but now is about to receive a big update ahead of its upcoming spinoff’s release.
Despite wrapping things up years ago, The Big Bang Theory remains one of the most beloved series on modern TV as its fans keep their hopes high about the series’ potential universe expansion.
That said, The Big Bang Theory has quite many options for spinoffs to consider, with one of them already being in the works and getting ready to take a closer look at Stuart Bloom, the owner of a comic store that the show’s leading characters frequently visited.
However, the future spinoff is still far from being in the full production mode, yet The Big Bang Theory’s fans will soon be able to fill the void with another series-related project set to be released on Max quite soon.
The Big Bang Theory Podcast Will Debut on Max Next Week
While there’s still no way the show’s first spinoff will be released this year, fans can enjoy another great thing in the meantime as The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast will arrive on Max on March 17.
The project aims at revisiting every single episode of the legendary sitcom and diving deeper into its details thanks to special guests, with The Big Bang Theory’s cast and crew being among them.
The podcast is also hosted by the show-related figure Jessica Radloff, the New York Times bestselling author of The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series.
Additionally, the upcoming project won’t be just about actors and producers, and will also feature several insiders as its special guests, considering that they were on The Big Bang Theory’s set and thus might have some secrets and behind-the-scenes details to share with audiences.
The Big Bang Theory Spinoff Isn’t Coming to Screens Anytime Soon
With all the recent news surrounding Chuck Lorre’s already confirmed TBBT spinoff, it might be hard for some fans to cope with the fact that it will take a while before the series eventually makes its way to small screens.
The future show, which doesn’t have a title yet, has so far gathered The Big Bang Theory’s several cast members, including Kevin Sussman as Stuart, John Ross Bowie as Bary Kripke, Lauren Lapkus as Denise and Brian Posehn as Bert.
The plot details are under wraps, but, judging by the current actor ensemble, it’s safe to say the spinoff will now turn everyone’s attention to the original show’s outcasts that were unfairly deprived of screen time.
However, with everything we know so far, the upcoming series is quite far from its production start right now, so we might expect its arrival at the end of 2026 at best or, more likely, sometime in 2027.
