Along with numerous Easter eggs, references and familiar faces there were some disappointing moments in that 'Thor: Love and Thunder' trailer – and here's what frustrated Marvel fans the most.

As Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) sits there looking bored and frustrated, Marvel fans seem to be frustrated too on her behalf, with many noting how they expected Valkyrie, the new ruler of Asgard, be more majestic, more grand – kind of like Odin himself. But, alas, New Asgard shown in 'Thor: Love and Thunder ' – and previously in 'Avengers: Endgame' – is not what Asgard used to be. Gone all the glamour and breathtaking architecture of Land of the Gods, New Asgard on Earth is diminished to… well, pretty any local Earth town, and this, for many Marvel fans, felt like the biggest disappointment in the trailer.

"New Asgard is small and, frankly, pathetic compared to Asgard proper," Reddit user MegaBaumTV says.

Many fans hope that this sad fate of New Asgard will not be its finale, and that sooner or later it will be reborn in the MCU – in all its former glory.

There's, at least, a solid reason to be hopeful – Valkyrie, who has to run New Asgard on her own while Thor has been rediscovering himself and searching for his place in a changed world, now has a helping hand in Jane Foster (Natalie Portman ) wielding restored Mjolnir and thus becoming the new Mighty Thor.
