Fans are worried the long-developed A-Train arc could be canceled to make him a Kanye West parody.

The Boys is highly praised for its fresh take on the superhero genre and for reflecting often ugly modern-day reality.

While featuring parodies of popular Marve and DC superheroes as antagonists, the show uses its storylines, characters, and individual scenes as a tool to hold a mirror up to American society and its everyday scandals.

With Season 3 taking political and social satire to the next level, it has become a kind of entertainment for fans and critics to search for real-life references in each episode.

No wonder fans are on the lookout for high-profile scandals that could find the reflection in The Boys Season 4 which is currently being filmed in Toronto.

One name that makes headlines almost daily recently is Kanye West who is globally condemned for his antisemitic rhetoric, praise of Adolf Hitler, and disdain for some iconic Black figures. The Boys fans think that such a scandalous person must find his way into the show.

And some are worried that it will be A-Train who will serve as a parody of Kanye West in the upcoming season.

"There's been a lot of discussions lately about The Boys making A-Train a parody of Kanye in S4, and since it's so recent I'm worried the writers will scrap a lot of what they built up for A-Train," a concerned fan wrote on The Boys subreddit.

The author goes on to explain that A-Train's arc is well-developed and, with everything happening to the character lately, he now has a solid foundation to actually become a better person. In Season 3, the Supe takes a stand against racism in hopes to connect more with the Black community.

He eventually confronts superstrong Supe Blue Hawk notorious for his racist views and actions. When this leads to A-Train's brother being paralyzed, the Supe takes revenge on Blue Hawk and brutally kills him. Though executed in the worst way possible, these actions showed that A-Train is not completely evil and can even be empathetic. But this spark of hope for redemption will be completely extinguished if A-Train becomes a Kanye parody.

Luckily, the majority of fans don't believe this theory is plausible.

"Everything about A-Train is counter to the newest Kanye stuff. He hates Nazis, it would make no sense for his arc to go down that road," one of the commenters wrote.

Who is right about the possible future for A-Train? Time will tell.
