The Exact Moment When ‘Suits’ Jumped the Shark: Here’s When to Drop It

Suits lost its charm long before Mike left the picture. Revealing the show's biggest secret was actually its worst mistake. Read on to find out what broke Suits!
Suits is one of the most beloved legal dramas out there, although the genre has a lot of great shows to suggest. However it’s the story of two unlikely men wearing suits of different cost that cemented the genre for many of us. Suits was simply a different show, one with as much raw emotion as high-stakes professional drama.
At the center of attention were always two people: Harvey Specter and Mike Ross. Specter is the embodiment of an elite lawyer, while Ross is a genius fraud whose intellect is his only qualification to be a lawyer.
For many seasons, Mike's lack of a degree was the driving force of the series, maintaining the tension. However, the moment the show lost its charm was when his secret was revealed to the world and he became a regular man.
‘Suits’ Jumped the Shark in Season 6
Many fans think the show was never the same after Patrick J. Adams left the show and his character Mike after season 7, but it actually happened quite earlier in season 6. At first the world finds out that Mike is a fraud, and then he cuts the deal to spend 2 years in prison because he was too afraid that the jury will be against him.
As expected, he ends up in jail, but only to be out in an instant. Like he always did during his legal career, Mike found a way to cut a deal with the authorities (with Harvey’s help of course) to get out of jail earlier, and it was then when we realized there was nothing that kept us glued to the screen anymore.
