The Hawkins Kids Face Their Final Fight in the Last Season of 'Stranger Things': First Look

Stranger Things 5 set to premiere this November with epic final season.
The concluding chapter for the Hawkins kids — though perhaps no longer children — begins this coming November, as Netflix has unveiled a fresh poster for Stranger Things 5. Alongside this, the streaming platform announced that a new teaser trailer will be released online July 16. In the meantime, fans can admire the striking new poster below! The artwork makes one thing abundantly clear: the battle with Vecna is far from over.
The first four episodes are scheduled to premiere on November 26, followed by three more episodes on December 25, and concluding with the series finale on December 31. Each volume will be released globally at 5pm PT / 8pm ET, ensuring fans worldwide can tune in simultaneously.
Set in the fall of 1987, the final season depicts Hawkins scarred by the opening of mysterious Rifts. Our heroes are united by a singular goal: to find and eliminate Vecna. However, he has vanished without a trace — his location and plans remain unknown. To complicate matters further, the government has quarantined Hawkins and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her into hiding once more.
As Will’s anniversary of disappearance approaches, an ominous dread looms large. The final confrontation is imminent — a darkness more powerful and deadly than anything faced before. To end this nightmare, everyone must stand together — one last time.
Series creators The Duffer Brothers have promised an epic conclusion. Ross Duffer shared that they spent over a year filming this season, capturing more than 650 hours of footage.
“This is our biggest and most ambitious season yet,” he said. “It’s like eight blockbuster movies — pretty insane.”
Matt Duffer echoed this sentiment, assuring fans that Season 5 will be “big and epic,” with no ramp-up — just intense from start to finish.
