The Kissing Booth’s Perfect Replacement Is Coming to Amazon Prime This Week

Love triangles never go out of style — and we’re here for it. The latest good example for it, The Kissing Booth starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi, got its release several years ago, but now it seems like fans of the genre may find something new and quite interesting for them among Prime Video ’s April releases.

On April 5, the streaming service will drop How To Date Billy Walsh, a teen romance movie starring Sebastian Croft, Charithra Chandran (who you may already know by her role in Bridgerton) and Tanner Buchanan.

The plot is quite typical, though does have some new refreshing details: Archie and Amelia are two long-time friends, but Archie has secretly developed romantic feelings for the girl which the latter doesn’t even notice.

Though Archie may have been already on his way to confess his true feelings to Amelia, his plan is thwarted by Billy Walsh, an exchange student from the United States. Billy eventually has Amelia head over heels which makes Archie come up with some plan of how to separate them — but instead he seems to push them even closer to each other.

The aggravated situation will force the character to invent another way of winning his best friend and beloved girl back.
