Here’s what you need: 3–4 apples, 1 cup of flour, 0.5 cups of sugar, 100 g of butter, cinnamon to taste.
Wash the apples, peel them if desired, and slice them thinly.
In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Add the cold butter and rub it in with your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Lightly grease the baking dish with butter.
Pour in half of the crumb mixture. Arrange the apples on top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with the remaining crumb mixture.
Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 35–40 minutes. As soon as the top is golden brown, you can take the pie out.
