The Pitt’s Finale Is 1 Episode Away & Fans Still Can’t Stand This Annoying Character
The high-stakes medical drama is coming to an end, but there's no chance viewers will be satisfied with the development of her arc.
There are many shows that are set in hospitals and delve deep into the lives of doctors, but they all have different core premises.
However, one of the most praised medical shows are those that focus more on the hard work that the medical staff has to go through in order to save lives, and The Pitt is one of the recent series that has received universal acclaim for its raw depiction of work in the hospital, or more specifically, in the emergency room.
Each episode of The Pitt, starring Noah Wyle, tells us a one-hour story and does a perfect job of making us realize what kind of people work there. And while of course most of the praise goes to Wyle’s character Dr. Robby, there’s one particular character that collected all the hate from fans of the series.
The one who everybody calls insufferable is Dr. Santos, the sort of bully of the series that thinks that she is above everyone and that no superiors should control her.

It feels like she is picking on others because of her lack of confidence, and fans believe it shows when she drops the scalpel in Dr. Garcia's foot accidentally. She is one of those who must always be right about her patients and never takes advice from older doctors.
“She's way too pushy and she'll get someone killed because she didn't listen to a senior resident and did the BiPap anyway resulting in making the issue worse. I was so upset. She's also so mean to the other student doctors??? Like, girl, you're at work, relax a bit on the joking and sarcasm,” Redditor poison_rose69 said.
But even though it's a totally off-putting behavior, some fans think that there's a way to actually see her character grow in the next chapter. And the fact that she's unlikable throughout the season is because, well, it's just a one-day story, and people don't change that fast, even when they go through a life-changing experience.
“People seem to forget this show takes place over the course of 15 hours. You really think these people have time to sit and digest their life choices and personal growth decisions when they don’t even have time to pee? People take time to change,” Redditor Savage_Batmanuel said.
The Pitt is available to stream on Max. Episode 15 will come out on April 10.
