The Potato Chip Salad Hack: Why Everyone is Shaking Their Snack Bags for the Ultimate 15-Minute Meal
Even with chips being the main ingredient, this salad turns out low-calorie and good for your figure.
If you’re a frequent cooker, it’s likely you’ve ever dreamed of making something without having to cleaning all the plates afterwards. Well, the good news is that you can actually make yourself a nutritious and simultaneously low-calorie salad inside a pack of potato chips! Just add a couple more ingredients, and you’re all set for a hearty dinner that won’t require cleaning the entire kitchen later.
Here’s what you need: 70–80 g of potato chips, 2 eggs, 200 g of smoked chicken breast, 150 g of cherry tomatoes, a bunch of green onions, dill to taste, 1 clove of garlic, 3–4 tbsp of yogurt.
Boil the eggs and slice them. Dice the chicken breast, cut the cherry tomatoes in half, and chop the herbs.
Lightly crush the chips right in the bag, add all the ingredients and the yogurt-garlic dressing.
Close the bag and shake gently. Serve immediately while it's still nice and crispy.
For the entire salad (~550–600 g): approx. 900–1,000 kcal. Per 100 g: approx. 160–180 kcal.
