The Real Reason Why Pedro Pascal Never Wants to Shave His Moustache Again

It’s more prosaic than you think, but I was still a little surprised to learn the real reason why Pedro Pascal is so stuck with his current look.
There’s no doubt that one of the most popular names in today’s Hollywood is Pedro Pascal’s. Wherever you look, it’s him everywhere! Just now he is in three movies that are all actively showing in theaters: Fantastic Four: First Steps, Eddington, and Materialists.
While being all over the big screen, Pedro Pascal is also on our phones, becoming a star of social media. Remember the many interviews he did with Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans for Materialists? Well, I watched them all and I can easily go for another round.
But in a recent interview with his Fantastic Four: First Steps co-star Vanessa Kirby on LADbible's “Agree to Disagree” series, he shared a little something about himself that turned the internet upside down.
We all love Pascal for the undeniable charisma and the energy he brings everywhere he goes, but the looks are also something we notice, right? And it’s safe to say that there are only a few stars who can pull off wearing a mustache (Tom Selleck forever) and Pedro Pascal is one of them.
However, apparently, the reason why he never shaves is pretty simple: he just dislikes how he looks clean-shaven.
Pascal shared that his decision to forgo shaving started after filming Wonder Woman 1984 in 2020. While starring as the villain Maxwell Lord, Pascal was clean-shaven for the first time in recent memory. However, he says he hated it and decided never to go back to that look unless absolutely necessary.
“I was so appalled by the way I looked. I loved the movie, but I was so appalled by the way that I looked that I never have gone back,” he said in the interview.
His moustache and beard really became his signature, but it’s fun to know that even big stars can be so threatened by the looks they serve.
