After saying that Taylor Swift is her only friend in the industry, Selena Gomez might have actually lost one of them.

It looks like there is bad blood between Selena Gomez and her kidney donor, Francia Raisa, after Gomez claimed that the only friend in the music industry is Taylor Swift.

Commenting on an Instagram post by E!News that quoted Gomez's bombshell Taylor Swift remark (that originally appeared in a Rolling Stone piece) , Raisa only wrote one word: "Interesting." Then, fans discovered that Francia unfollowed Gomez on Instagram.

"I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn't belong. I felt the presence of everyone around me living full lives," the original quote by Gomez reads.

The situation is quite dramatic, as Raisa is apparently hurt by Gomez' remark, given that she was the one to donate her kidney to the singer back in 2017. The two have been friends since 2007, but unfollowing someone on Instagram can amount to end of friendship these days.

Fans can't stop speculating as to what Gomez meant. Some people argue that Selena referred to music industry specifically — something that would redeem her in the eyes of Raisa, who is an actress.

"Let me make one thing clear here for people who love to jump to conclusions without anything information. Francia was the one telling Selena to not mention her in interviews cause she did not want to be known as a donor and this is how she is repaying her," Twitter fan FetishOfLeon said.

"She was talking about the music industry. She actually did name Francia as a friend later in the article, along with Cara and some others," another user, SwiftieSpice, argued.

Gomez, however, did not seem to be in the mood to apologize or de-escalate. Responding to Raisa's move, the singer said: "Sorry I didn't mention every person I know."

For some people, the response seemed way too cold.

"Guys this isn't the first time Francia felt neglected by her, for those of u bringing up how she said "in the industry." I think it's a last straw of her constantly feeling like Selena wasn't reciprocating love back to her, definitely not just this," user azaleamiles554 added.

It's unclear whether the two remain friends, but many fans express hope that they manage to clear out the air and make sure the issue is resolved. After all, Raisa's move to donate her kidney to Selena was a very moving piece of news ever since 2017, and there is a chance that the drama stems from a mere misunderstanding of the news article.
