After this recipe, you won’t be preparing mashed potatoes in any other way.

Those who are used to cooking at home likely know that the mix of milk and butter is what makes mashed potatoes more tender and tastier. However, some might have figured out an even better idea to make the garnish all the way better — and you only need a little bit of soft processed cheese for that.

Peel the potatoes, boil them in salted water, drain the water, and set aside a cup of the cooking liquid to thin the mashed potatoes.

Mash the potatoes, adding 2–3 tablespoons of soft processed cheese. Knead the mixture, blending the potatoes with the cheese, which will melt into the mash from the heat.

Add a little of the reserved cooking water until you reach the desired consistency. Taste the potatoes for salt; you can also add a little seasoning.

This mashed potatoes will be fluffy, tender, and creamy.
